This explains how KIMS Nursery and Primary School (Kudos Indian Montessori Shikshalaya), Selaiyur, Chennai, an initiative of The VEDIC Educational and Charitable Trust, uses the details you share when you enquire about admission.

What we collect

  • On apply.kimsindia.com: your name, your mobile number and the class you are enquiring about. We save these as you type, so we can still contact you if you stop before pressing submit. We also note whether you tapped our call or WhatsApp button, whether you used a phone or a computer, and which website or advert brought you to the page.
  • On the admission enquiry and Book a visit forms at www.kimsindia.com: your mobile number and, only if you choose to give them, your child's name, gender, date of birth, class and native language; the parents' names, occupations and mobile numbers; your address, pincode and email; how you heard about KIMS; and your preferred visit date and time. Each answer is saved as you give it.
  • On Facebook and Instagram forms: the answers you submit in the form.
  • On WhatsApp: the messages you send us.

Your child's details

We ask about your child only to plan their admission and your school visit. Every question about your child is optional. We never publish a child's details, and we never share them outside the school.

Why we collect it

Only to contact you about admission to KIMS: to answer your questions and arrange a school visit or interview. We do not sell your details or use them for anything unrelated to admissions.

Where it is stored

  • Enquiries from our websites are stored in our website system, provided by Wix.
  • Enquiries from Facebook and Instagram forms are stored by Meta, which provides those forms, and are available to our admissions team. WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp, also part of Meta.
  • The maps on our pages are provided by Google Maps.
  • We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which steps people complete, for example entering a number or tapping call. It uses cookies and does not receive your name or phone number.
  • We use Google Ads to see when someone who tapped one of our adverts goes on to send the form. It uses cookies and does not receive your name or phone number.

These providers handle the data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as we need them for admissions, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the details we hold about you or your child, or to stop contacting you. Contact us using the details below and we will act on your request.
